47 North Parkview Road, Woodstock
Barn Owners: Roderick and Ila Jean Yocom
Quilt Square: "The Hunt"
Sponsor: Champaign Bank

Constructed with wood covered in vinyl siding, the Yocom's barn was built in the late 1800s or early 1900s. The barn originally housed farm animals, but is now used to store farm equipment. The large hip roof was probably to allow room for hay storage in the two mows on either side of a large central area extending the width of the structure. "The Hunt" quilt pattern was chosen because it signifies to them man's search for meaning in his life.
