The granary was built by A.G. Samuelson in 1948. It features 3 side ear corn storage bins with 5 overhead bins for small grain. A state-of-the-art overhead elevator with shuts to each bin was installed. There is a truck lift used to raise loads up for easy unloading. One of the first on-the-farm mixing and grinding systems was installed by Kelly/Duplex of Springfield. The granary is now used for storage of stoves and lawn and garden tools.
