This barn was built in the early 1900s, and its original function was to serve as a dairy barn. Currently it is being used for machinery storage. The barn is constructed of rough sawn wooden frame pinned together at the joints. It was covered with wood siding and eventually covered with metal. The west side of the barn was the milking parlor unattached to the milkhouse. In the center of the barn were two granaries for feed. To the north of the parlor was a concrete silo, which has been removed. Above the granaries and parlor is a large haymow. A loafing shed was later added onto the south side of the main barn. In 1985, a farm shop was built onto the east side of the barn. This tour stop includes the Circle Farm market offering all of your favorite natural fall decorations including pumpkins, gourds, squash, Indian corn, straw, painted pumpkins, and corn shocks. The colors selected for the quilt represent the harvest seen by the fall farm products. The four "circles" on the outside of the quilt represent their family of four and are connected to the "innter circle" representing their family.
