Built in 1975, the metal barn has served the purpose of a cattle barn. The original barn burned in 1978. Bob was born in the home on the farm in 1927, and has lived there his entire life. The quilt means a great deal to Jane because she has been a quilter for 40 years and she is a charter member of the Champaign Quilter's Guild.
